Election Commission is ready whether general elections are held in 60 days or 90 days, Zafar Iqbal
1: Special Secretary Election Commission Zafar Iqbal has said that if the assemblies are dissolved by August 12, then the election will be held by October 11. The election commission is ready for the general elections whether it is in 60 days or 90 days.
2: In an informal conversation with journalists at the Election Commission’s central office, Secretary Election Commission Umar Hameed Khan said that the Election Commission is always ready for transparent and impartial elections in the country, but if the new census is approved, then Constituencies will require 4 months.

Regarding the issue of election symbols to PTI, the Election Secretary said that the issue of PTI foreign funding is under hearing in the court and will not say anything regarding the issue of election symbols.
DG Political Finance Wing Masood Sherwani said that according to the law, every politician is obliged to submit his assets to the Election Commission.
Earlier, in another statement, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif clarified that the term of our government will end in August, the Election Commission will announce it whenever the elections are held in October, November.
